How far did you make it in English?
Because it seems that you need to work a bit on your reading comprehension.

I asked because once you get so high in the math arena you start really connecting things. The joke is that japanese scientists measured the diameter of a circle really accurately, then measured it's circumference, and divided the latter by the former using long division to get pi to the two millionth decimal place. Kids in algebra 1 aren't going to get that very well without having it explained. Jackass.

That doesnt make any sense. Two million decimal places would take years of long division. Your joke serves to call the Japanese innefficent, which is not in accordance with stereotype. You should take a fucking logic course or something; you know, Where they teach kids to keep their hands off sotvetops and stuff.
:fag:
edit: oh yoeah did i mention my math teacher was in a Zeppelin Cover band that went to woodstock?
edit 2: IM IN ALGEBRA 3 BTW

It's not a race joke, it's a math nerd joke. The fact that it would take a long, long time to do it with long division is why it's funny because the expected answer would be to use computers and shit to calculate it.

I like how you keep trying to explain and justify the joke to everyone. Interesting strategy.

Yes I was very surprised it just seemed the writer took the easy way out and threw it together at the last second.
